Family Coalition

Let’s Work Together

Great Start Family Coalition is a network of families working together to raise awareness of the importance of early childhood investment for our youngest citizens in Tuscola County. We advocate, educate, and communicate about the importance of Tuscola County children to be safe, healthy, and eager to succeed in school and in life. 

Strengthen Your Family

The Great Start Family Coalition is a network of families dedicated to:

raising awareness of the importance of early investment.

communicating the importance of Tuscola County children to be safe, healthy, and eager to succeed in school and in life.

\

offering feedback to be used to educate policy makers on the importance of investing in the first five years of life.

\

showing the importance of family involvement in the decision-making process for local programs.

\

helping the Great Start Coalition understand the desires and needs of families in the community.

Get Involved:

The Family Coalition allows you to choose your level involvement. Get involved by identifying the levels that best match your preferences.

Level 1

Stay in contact with the group by e-mail

Level 2

Attend events and activities and share information in your community circles.

Level 3

Attend meetings and volunteer at family coalition.  Attend Great Start Collaborative events and activities.

Level 4

Actively serve on both the Parent Coalition and the Great Start Collaborative
